Solitaire Draw 1: the relaxed way to play Klondike

Solitaire with one card turned at a time, free online. Deals are usually winnable, and the waste pile goes back to the stock as often as you need.

In Draw 1 Solitaire, each tap on the stock turns a single card onto the waste pile, ready to play. Since every card goes through there one by one, you can plan when each one will be useful, and the waste pile returns to the stock as many times as you like. Deals are usually drawn so that they can be won, which means getting stuck tends to come from a move, not from bad luck (a first game can be an ordinary deal, without that check). It is a good way to learn Klondike and to practise at an easy pace.

How to play

  1. Turn one card at a time; the top card of the waste pile is the only one you can play.
  2. Before turning more, look for moves that flip cards in the columns: uncovering what is hidden is worth more than tidying what you already see.
  3. Going through the stock again costs nothing: the waste pile goes back in the same order, so it pays to look again once the table has changed.
  4. Only a King can fill an empty column; do not empty one unless a King is in sight.
  5. Stuck? The hint points to a useful move. Every game starts with 3 free hints.
